In this tutorial, we will be only covering the Startup tab in the System Configuration. In the Startup tab, this is where we would go when your computer slows on startup.
Why Is My Computer Boot Up So Slow?
The reason why your computer boots up slow is because a lot of programs are running in the background of your computer. So, before using System Configuration you need to uninstall all the software that you are not using. To do that:
Go to Start and type “Programs and Features” and click it from the search result.
In the list of programs that are installed on your computer, right-click the program that you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
How to Use System Configuration to Fix When Computer Slow on Startup
This section is the exciting part where we would be able to fix our slow boot-up time. When you implement this method, you will notice a significant difference when your computer starts up.
Note: Please note that this method will not speed up the whole process of your computer, only the startup.

- Hold the Windows button and press R for the Run dialog box.
- Type MSConfig and press Enter for the System Configuration window.

- From the list of Startup Items, deselect or un-check the programs that you do not want to run at startup.
